About the Scarab Beetle

The beetle is an important symbol in ancient Egyptian religion. The beetle was associated with the divine manifestation of the early morning sun, Khepri, whose name was written with the scarab hieroglyph and who was believed to roll the disk of the morning sun over the eastern horizon at daybreak. Since the scarab hieroglyph, Kheper, refers variously to the ideas of existencemanifestation, developmentgrowth, and effectiveness, the beetle itself was a favorite form used for amulets in all periods of Egyptian history.

The scarab beetle symbolizes the evolution that we should embrace if we take our leadership seriously.  We will always be challenged to embrace change both personally and professionally.  The ideas of existence, development, growth, and effectiveness are critical to the maturation process of our leadership.
